The occasional musings of an overly-enthusiastic-senior potter who recently found her way to the potters wheel.

out to lunch...
Thanks for dropping by. I'm OK but I have not been in the studio since I unloaded the kiln a couple weeks ago. Just got too many 'homemaking' things to do. And I'm getting pretty grouchy these days--probably because there is no time for studio work. Once or twice I have (unintentionally) upset Kenny when he thought he was responsible for my grumpyness. That is not a good thing as he is the sweetest guy who would never do anything wrong or anything to hurt or upset anyone. Hope to get back on track soon--but it may take a while!

Hi Gay. Glad to see a post. Hope to see some pots again soon. Sarah and I signed up for a one day workshop with Cheri Huber in November. It's in Asheville. I expect you've probably heard of her. I like her books, it will be good to meet her and hear her speak in person. More later, Ron
Gay -
You hang in - it's a tough world right now, I think many of us are feeling crabby because of all the news around us. I know I am! It's affecting my work, my outlook on life, everything.... I wish I could just close my eyes and have it be November already.
I have to keep the thought in my head that goodness always prevails. Know that your muse will return, and with it - some great work will result.
Hugs to you,
Jamie
Hi Gay - I know that feeling of grouchiness when the studio beckons but there is a cloud of "to-do" fog that you have to get through first...
Hey, the house numbers look great!
I do appreciate your visits very much--though I must admit it does make me sad that I am not making more regular posts. My sister, who lives in Maine will arrive tomorrow for a week long visit (too short). And we learned that in the next few weeks Kenny will have surgery that will have him hospitalized for a couple weeks. So 'production' around here will come to a full stop, I expect. Good thing I don't depend on myself to be a production potter!
Have been thinking of you with heaps of hugs.
It's great that your sister has been visiting - what a treasure !!!
I'm wishin' you happy days and lotza sunshine Gay.
Love N Hugs
Chae
