Resolved, studio opening January 5

By hook or by crook, we will be working in the studio--on a regular basis--beginning next week!
It has been a long haul, but it seems that things are settling down now and with a bit of discipline we can be in the studio regularly again.
I am so eager to be working again. I have really missed getting to spend time with my hands on/in clay. I have so many things I want to try out--but watch me get there and not know how to begin again!
This weekend I intend to spend time getting the studio back into working order. It is pretty disordered right now and I can't work in that. It may take a couple days to get everything ready to go--but I want it ready by Monday!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL MY DEAR FRIENDS!

What a wonderful way to start the New Year Gay !!!
The minute you have your hands in clay, it will all come back to you and more than likely new skills which you've been dreaming about will magically materialize !!!
You know that i am praying that the New Year brings you all the Blessings of nourishment, love, joy, peace -- all the wonderful and truly magical experiences of life!

I know what you mean about getting into the studio. I just shut the door a few weeks ago and spent time with friends and family. Now I know it's time for me to get back to clay, and I'm not sure what I will do once I get everything cleaned up. I suppose starting with a good cleaning is the best way to start but there is a little voice way back in my head saying, "what are you going to do, where will you start?" I had lunch at a friend's today and saw some books that really inspired me so that may be the starting place.....good luck!

Gay -- oh happy day . . . it's great yall will be back in the studio soon. And I love the picture of the door to represent your 're-entry.' When I first start after a holiday I usually make a list to work from -- easy things - bowls - cups, etc. And then before I know it I'm back. A teacher once encouraged us to 'play scales' when returning after a vacation.

Happy New Year -- and happy new work!
